The XI Workforce is a term introduced by Foggix to represent the new type of workforce empowered by synergetic fusion of cross discipline intelligences, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI1), Authentic Intelligence (AI2), Augmented Intelligence (AI3) and Data Intelligence (DI), which provide a practice solution to fill the gaps between the business needs and the capabilities the current AI can offer.
People can easily come up a question, with the highly advanced AI platforms existing in the world like ChatGPT, why we need XI workforce?
Well, there is a good article ChatGPT Is a Tipping Point for AI (hbr.org) from Harvard Business Review that had already answer this question. According to this article, there are two major issues that makes ChatGPT not as good as we expected:
1. 'It literally does not know what it doesn’t know.' that results the answer we get from it 'a consummate bullshitter'.
2. 'It also can’t explain what it does or how it does it, making the results of AI inexplicable. That means that systems can have biases and that unethical action is possible, hard to detect, and hard to stop. '
For these reasons, the author concludes that collaborative work model to help ChatGPT to do better works for human being. 'A writer can easily edit badly written sentences that may appear in AI articles, a human programmer can spot errors in AI code, and an analyst can check the results of AI conclusions.'
